How to know if your Etsy + Printify orders are actually profitable
A sale can look profitable in Etsy but still lose money once Printify production, shipping, refunds, and Offsite Ads are included.
The quick check
For each order, start with revenue and subtract every cost that happened because that order existed.
net profit = revenue - Etsy fees - Printify production cost - Printify shipping cost - refunds - Offsite Ads - other costs
If net profit is below zero, the order lost money. If margin is below your target, the listing may need a price change.
Example
Revenue

Result
Profit is $2.31 before other edge cases. A refund or discount can push it negative.

Why CSV matching matters
Etsy exports and Printify exports live in separate systems. The scanner combines them by order ID, SKU, and close dates so you can find problem orders faster than a manual spreadsheet pass.
Your CSV files never leave your browser.
